Mangaluru, Jul 23: “Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore, jointly with Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru will be organizing a centralized walk-in-interview at Sahyadri Campus, Mangaluru on July 26,” informed dean placement Prof Rashmi Bhandary.
Addressing media here on Tuesday July 23, Rashmi Bhandary said, "Graduates, engineers and diploma holders can take part in this interview where more than 20 companies are expected to take part in the fair. Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is an autonomous body under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The erstwhile Ministry of Education, Government of India, initiated a `Practical Training Stipendiary Scheme’ with the objective of providing practical training to fresh Graduates, Engineers and Diploma holders.”
Assistant placement officer Anusha Rao said, “Companies participating in walk-in-interview are IBM, Reliance Jio Infocomm, KIOCL Limited, ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd, Wave Systems, HirePro, Veer-O-Metals Private Limited, BASF India Limited, RDL Technologies Private Limited, Diya Systems, Winman Software India LLP, Artech, Hindustan Unilever Ltd Mangaluru, The Canara Workshop Ltd, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd Bengaluru, Caliper Engineering and Lab Pvt. Ltd, among others.”
Documents to be brought along by the candidates for the interview are multiple copies of updated CV, passport size photographs, all the originals and photocopies of marks cards including certificates.

All eligible candidates can directly participate in the selection.
Individual call letters will not be sent to the candidates.
Candidate’s already undergoing/undergone apprenticeship training need not attend the selection.
