Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 27: The investiture ceremony of Carmel School for the academic year 2019 -20 was held on Thursday, June 27 at the school auditorium.

The school was privileged to have Fr Victor D’Souza, principal, Rosario PU College as the chief guest. Sr Maria Kripa, joint secretary, Sr Sarika, principal, Sr Rose Agnes, administrator, and Lavita D’Souza, member of the School Managing Committee were the other dignitaries present for the occasion.

The event began with a formal march of the new council members, led by the school head girl Chandrima Monteiro and the assistant head girl Shreya J. The school choir led the gathering into an opening chorus and prayer service.

A short cultural extravaganza added luster to the occasion, followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The student council was given the sash and the badges by the dignitaries. The principal administered the oath to the student council. Fr Victor congratulated the student council and gave an inspiring message with concrete examples on the role of a leader, as the one who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way.

Shreya Jain and Vinutha kamath compered the programme. Sr Gracy welcomed the gathering and Cynthia Renjal proposed the vote of thanks.
