Mangaluru: ICYM Valencia marks decennial milestone with spectacular 'Sangeeth Saanz 2.0'

Mangaluru, April 21: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Valencia unit commemorated a remarkable milestone as it celebrated its decennial year with a grand cultural extravaganza, "Sangeeth Saanz 2.0", held at the Valencia Church Grounds on Sunday evening.

The event commenced at 6:30 pm with a formal stage programme graced by esteemed dignitaries: assistant parish priest Fr Pradeep Rodrigues, parish council vice president and ICYM animator Ronald Rodrigues and parish council secretary Rita Menezes, who were present as guests of honour. Unit president Clive Rego and secretary Neha DSouza were also present.

As a tribute to ten vibrant years of youth leadership, faith, and community service, the evening unfolded into a mesmerising musical night. The atmosphere was electrified with soul-stirring music by talented instrumentalists Sanjay Rodrigues, Roshan Fernandes, Clyde Lobo, and Swibert Mascarenhas.

The audience was captivated by the live vocal performances of Robin Sequeira, Ashwin Sequeira, Carol Sequeira, Dealle DSouza, and Verna DSouza, whose voices resonated with passion and energy.

Adding rhythm and flair to the evening, the dynamic dance troupe D’Gallery delivered power-packed performances that had the crowd cheering in admiration. The event was seamlessly anchored by the ever-charismatic VJ Dixon, whose vibrant hosting brought life to every moment.

ICYM Valencia’s decennial celebration was not just a look back at ten years of impactful youth engagement it was a powerful enduring spirit of the youth in Valencia. The night was a resounding success and will be remembered as a beacon of inspiration for the years to come.
