Mangaluru: St Aloysius Higher Primary School holds elections

Mangaluru, Jun 8: On Thursday June 6 during the morning assembly nine students of class 8 were introduced by Padmanabha. These students were contesting for the post of S P L and A S P L.

The candidates for the post of S P L were Eshaan, Chris Anjan Baptist, Joyal Fernandes, Bevan DSouza and Aron Joshua Saldanha. The candidates for the post of A S P L were Dalmia, Doreen Suvel, Preethi Rathod and Stuti Nayak.

Before the elections began the candidates were canvassing in the school campus.

The students cast their votes on Saturday June 8. The students who were eligible to vote were from class 4 to class 7.











The election process was conducted according to general elections. The polling officers Padmanabha, Harish and Arun made sure the process carried out without disruptions.

As the counting was in progress the students cheered for their favourites. The school quadrangle was a treat to watch. The enthusiastic students rallied along with their prospective leaders. By the end of the day the students were eagerly waiting to hear the final results.

Eshaan P B emerged victorious as the S P L while Dalmia Dennis k won the spot of the A S P L for the academic year 2019 to 2020.
