Mumbai, Apr 27: Reports of Air India's operations all over the world having been crippled have been pouring in after the server of the behemoth went down since Saturday morning.
It is said that the slowing down of the server was caused by a technical fault in the main server of Air India.
Services of SITA, which is the main server of Air India, went down due to technical issue. The phenomenon was noticed at 3.30 am today.
A spokesperson for the airline confirmed that the said server is down, and that as a result, flight operations have been affected. He said that the team of experts is involved with the process of correcting the fault and it is hoped that the system would begin to work normally within a short time.

Later the software was restored.
But the Air India spokesperson said that a total of 155 flights will be delayed for an average duration of two hours till 8.30 pm.
