Mangaluru, Apr 24: A former corporator from the Congress has been expelled for engaging in anti-party activities.
The expelled Congressman, Radhakrishna, was a corporator from the Bolar ward. He was also a local party leader.
The expulsion order was issued by Dakshina Kannada district Congress committee president Harish Kumar.
Radhakrishna allegedly not only engaged in anti-party activities but also made derogatory statements againt Mithun Rai, the party's official candidate for Dakshina Kannada, thereby violating the party's codes.
Hence, Radhakrishna has been expelled from primary membership of the party, informed Congress district secretary Nazeer Bajal.
