Bantwal, Mar 1: Sports Indoor Stadium was inaugurated in Madanthyar Sacred Heart College on February 27th 2019.
The indoor stadium was a UGC grant. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangaluru diocese and the president of CBE inaugurated and blessed the sports indoor stadium.
After the inauguration small stage program was held. During the felicitation program Fr Antony Sera, Fr Lawrence Masharenhas, Fr Jerome D’Souza, MLA Harish Poonja, MLC Harish Kumar, Dr Kishor Kumar, Gopalkrishna K was present.
Bishop in his massage enlightened all the students on the importance of sports in one’s life.
All the guests highlighted the importance of sports in every one’s life along with studies and strongly urged students to make use of the indoor stadium in a productive way.
All those who were instrumental in executing the mega project were honored. Meals were served at the end of the program.
