Mangaluru: St Agnes College organises workshop for I BCom students

Mangaluru, Feb 26: A two hour workshop for first year BCom students of St Agnes College was recently conducted by the department of Commerce under the banner SACCSA.

The workshop was conducted in order to provide intense training at undergraduate level to commerce students.

It was hosted by Jasmine of I BCom A. Savina and group of I BCom C led the prayer and Stuthi from I Bcom B welcomed the dignitaries on the dais.

Sowjanya Hegde freelancer clebrity anchor and administrative head of Namma TV channel was the resource person. She was the past president of JCI Club, Mangaluru and an ambassador for zone 15 spreading awareness about menstruation and menstrual hygiene under the upcoming project ‘Prayas’. She is a lawyer by profession, but an anchor by passion as well as an alumnus of St Agnes college.



Couple of activities were conducted in order to telecast the talents of the students and to know about leadership abilities in students. The activities taught the students how to overcome different obstacles in life and also how to plan strategies in various situations. The workshop also emphasised on time management and investment management skills in students as well as decision-making skills towards changing scenarios.

After every activity, Pritham Pinto and Michelle Pinto, owners of Road Runners imparted information about their activities and guided the students on how they could have performed better in different situations.

Around 297 students of I BCom attended the workshop.

Feedback was taken by the students and the workshop came to a close with the vote of thanks by Flavia I BCom B.
