Mangaluru: Milagres School organises 'Milagres Milan' literary, cultural competitions

Mangaluru, Feb 2: Milagres School, here, recently organised an annual event 'Milagres Milan', comprising of literary and cultural competitions for students from classes IV to IX.

In the juniors’ drawing competition, Varshini of class V won the first prize and Vaishnavi K of class VII won the second. In the senior category, Janice D’Souza of class VIII won the second prize and Crisel Cutinho of class IX won the third.

In the juniors’ rangoli competition, a team event, Suhenaa Sumadarshan and Pragathi Rao Baneri of class VII won the second prize. In the senior category, Mitali Bhandary and Riya Sarita D’Souza of class IX won the second prize.

In the seniors’ clay modelling competition, Tanisha Jogi of class IX won the second prize.

In the variety competition, which was a combination of drama, music, dance and singing, the junior team secured the second place. The team members were Soudhriti, Drishika, Adithi, Vamshitha and Dhrithi of class V and Saptha of class VI.

The senior team won the first prize in the variety competition. The team members were Sheldon, Hafeez and Aniruddh of class VIII and Fariza, Ninad, Sneha, Adora, Prakriti, Mahika, Srishti, Joanna and Erika of class IX.

The senior and junior variety team jointly received the Best Event Award for their marvellous performances and the entire LCS team won the overall championship.
