Abu Dhabi, Jan 11: If one wants to attend the Pope Francis's public Mass in Dubai, then one needs to register online before January 20.
The mass will be open to 1, 20,000 ticket holders, but there are one million Catholics in the UAE. Hence, Catholics are advised to register with their local parishes to attend the mass to be held at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on February 5.
Parishioners attending St Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai are required to complete an online parishioner registration form before January 15, with a registration ID mandatory for mass tickets.
Catholics attending St. Francis Church in Jebel Ali needs parishioners to register before January 20.
St Mary’s Catholic Church announced that the number of tickets is limited and each parish has a limited quota. Delay in registration will result in unavailability of entry tickets.
“Our Parish will list all the main representations of the parish by community, ministry and movements with the aim of ensuring as broad a representation as possible,” said a release from St Mary’s Catholic Church.
Meanwhile ticketing process are still being worked on announced St Francis Church urging parishioners keep updated with the website and to register online.
