Mangaluru: CODP organises orientation to Educare students

Mangaluru, Nov 18: A successful orientation programme for the 3rd batch of Educare was held on November 18, at CODP Mother Theresa Hall. As many as 00 students enthusiastically participated in the Educare orientation programme. With this programme, 286 students received Rs 2,46,82,000. Michael D’Souza and family was remembered with grateful sentiments with standing ovation.

Fr Vincent D'Souza, director of CODP, extended a warm welcome to students and their parents during the Educare orientation programme. He said that parents/guardians of students availing themselves of Educare aid are hereby informed that they will be solely responsible for rolling the programme further.

He elaborated on the terms and conditions of the Educare aid agreement, ensuring that students and parents understood their responsibilities and obligations. He emphasised the importance of timely obligation to build up the Educare scholarship fund. He also said that motivation programme is scheduled for January 2025, aiming to inspire and empower students to reach to their full potential.

Francis D'Cunha, retired headmaster, St Antony of Padavu High School, shared his valuable insights on the Educare orientation programme, highlighting its benefits and significance. He appreciated the students' participation and encouraged them to make the most of this opportunity, extending his best wishes for their academic success.

Resource person for the programme, Richard Alvares, explained about the availability of scholarships.

Reena, Praveen and the staff of CODP coordinated with Fr Vincent, secretary, CODP to organise the above programme.
