Udupi: Trinity Central School celebrates meaningful Grandparents Day

Udupi, Oct 26: Trinity Central School on October 24 celebrated Grandparents Day highlighting the important role grandparents play in the life of every child.

Nearly 250 grandparents were present. It was a memorable day for Trinity family as it is at the threshold of celebrating its decennial year.

The special day was filled with a variety of programmes including dance by the younger kids, skit to depict the love and respect towards grandparents along with lively and entertaining games which enthralled the audience.



The special event of ‘Selfie with Grandpa/Grandma brought smiles on the faces of the children as well as the grandparents. There were various spot games and winners were awarded while grandparents who lived the highest years of married life were felicitated.

A wonderful input session was given by Dr Shwetha, assistant professor in department of Clinical Psychology, SOAHS – MAHE on how to live a blessed old life and to cope with physical, mental and psychological illness during this stage.

In addition a free health checkup was conducted by Manipal community health department for all the grandparents.
