Mangaluru: Milagres College donates fund for flood-hit victims in Kodagu and Kerala

Mangaluru, Aug 28: Milagres Group of Educational Institutions, in collaboration with management, staff, students, PTA, Alumni Association along with the Outreach Unit-‘Sahayoga’ and NSS unit, collected relief fund for the victims of Kodagu district and Kerala state.

Apart from relief fund, materials like rice, pulses, grains, food items, clothes etc were donated to the needy at the camp centers.

On August24, a total amount of 75,000/- was handed over to the additional deputy commissioner Kumar by Fr Michael L Santhumayor, campus director and principal of the college. CBSE headmistress Elveera Lasrado, Dr Mamatha N R, coordinator of Milagres College Outreach Unit, and Karthik, NSS student coordinator, were present on the occasion.
