Mangaluru: ICYM Shirthady donates waste disposal bins to church

Mangaluru, Jul 24: On the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, ICYM Shirthady unit donated waste disposal bins to the church for improving church sanitation here on Monday July 23.

The parish priest Fr Francis Crasta, Fr Deepak Noronha, vocation director of Mangaluru diocese and rector of minor seminary Fr Anil Fernandes, parish council vice-president Wilfred Pinto, ICYM president Chintan Lobo, secretary Preemal D’sa were present.


    


The waste disposal bins will help the parishioners to keep the church premises clean and also help in proper disposal of waste. This is an initiative to fight against diseases especially during rainy season and motivate the parishioners to keep the premises clean.
