Mangaluru, Feb 21: Prestige International School and Pre University College launched and released the first edition of school magazine ‘Meraki’ for the year 2017-18 on February 15 with a formal and grand function.

All parents and teachers along with dignitaries marked their presence on the event. Chief guest Prof K Balakrishna Bhat, former MLC of Karnataka, and guest of honour Dr Gururaj Karajagi, an eminent speaker, writer and educational consultant, also graced the function. Other special guests were Y S Adappa, director of Accolade Academy and Dr Ruksana, a well-known psychologist and school counselor were also present.

Prestige International School and Pre Univserity College chairman Hyder Ali and managing director Reshma Hyder and principal Feroza Fayaaz managed the event.

‘Meraki’ release was followed by an enlightening session by Dr Gururaj Karajagi on ‘Art of Parenting’. The programme ended by parents leaving a handprint and their signature on cora cloth to acknowledge the enlightenment they took home from Dr Gururaj.
