Moodbidri, Jun 4: Karnataka governor and ex-officio chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore T N Chaturvedi has nominated Dr Mijarguttu Mohan Alva, chairman of the Alvas Education Foundation as a syndicate member for the fourth time.
The notification from the University dated June 2 also has also announced the full, reconstited syndicate. Over 650 colleges from all over the state are affiliated to this university.
The honour for Dr Alva has been widely welcomed as a token of recognition of his reputation as a head of a group of educational institutions, besides his varied interests like sports, culture and literature.
