Mangaluru, Nov 24: Confraternity Sunday was celebrated with devotion and joy on November 24 at Holy Family Church, Omzoor, marking the beginning of the three-day festive program leading to the parish annual feast on November 27. Parishioners gathered in large numbers on this blessed occasion.

The Eucharistic celebration commenced at 8 am with Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of St Philomena College, Puttur, as the main celebrant. Parish priest Fr William Menezes and Fr Jeevan D’Mello OFM Cap co-celebrated the Eucharist.

The Eucharistic celebration was followed by a solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament, with a significant number of devotees participating. The musical band, melodious choir, prayerful singing by the parishioners, altar servers, and vibrant decorations added grandeur to the event.

The celebration concluded with the benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the church. The proceedings of Confraternity Sunday reflected the deep faith and unity of the parishioners.
