Bangalore, Aug 23: Konkani Community Language and Traditions (KCLT) celebrated Konkani Divas in Bangalore in a unique manner on Tuesday August 20.
Few KCLT members of Bangalore under the guidance of admin Vastu Yogi Dr Ramesh Kamath went to a reputed orphanage -run by Courtesy Foundation NGO at Kengeri and entertained the orphan children with Konkani songs, Konkani dance, magic show and personality development programme.
After the show KCLT fed around 380 orphan children with sumptuous dinner and distributed sweets. The KCLT members also had food along with the orphan children.
The Konkani editor Venkatesh Pai of Karnataka Math Kannada weekly (who is also KCLT member) spoke on the occasion and inspired the orphan children with his inspiring speech. KCLT Admin Vastu Yogi Dr Ramesh Kamath showed few magic tricks and taught few morning prayers to the children.
Spandana exhibited a Konkani Dance and Rajani sang few Konkani songs. Sonu enthralled the orphan children with his wonderful magic show and talking monkey show.
KCLT expressed gratitude to Dr Ramesh Kamath for his total involvement in this service activity.
