Mangalore: JD(S) Convention to be Held at Asaigoli on Jan 4

Mangalore, Jan 2: "The mass convention of JD(S) activists will be held at Asaigoli on Friday January 4", informed Nagaraj Shetty, former minister.

He addressed the media at a press meet held at the press club on Tuesday January 2.

Speaking about the convention, he said former chief minister Kumaraswamy will be inaugurating and MB Sadhashiv, president of Dakshina Kannada JD(S) will presided over the programme.

Commenting on the upcoming election, Nagaraj Shetty said that he along with other members are trying to secure more seats and that the candidate list will be ready by January end.

"We have a hope that we will win more seats, as many people have expressed their support to us as they are fed up of other parties", he added.

A similar kind of convention will also be held in various other places, he said.

MG Hegde, secretary; Mohammed Kunhi, working president of Dakshina Kannada JD(S); Shashiraj Shetty; Abdul Azeez Malar; Jayalaxmi Heggade; Pradeep Salian among others were present.

    people fed up with not party..people fed up with individual like nagaraj shetty , who keep on changing his mind and only talk , no development at all.. all thsee peoples mind is how to make money........... we should vote this time eather congress or bjp, we need full strenght parties, also let young people contest election this time rather than 60 year and above...... let mnore smart woman/gentlemean contest election
