Mumbai, Apr 7: Actress Urvashi Rautela has responded to the social media chatter and comparisons with fellow performer Nora Fatehi, choosing poise over provocation. In a recent interaction, the ‘Sanam Re’ star addressed the trolls, affirming that every actor brings their own uniqueness to the silver screen.
“I don’t take everyone’s opinions personally,” Urvashi shared. “Of course, if someone says something rude, I don’t let it bother me. Every artist has their own space and individuality. Comparisons don’t upset me our generation must perform with the same dedication that built Bollywood’s foundation.”
She also opened up about her latest track, Touch Kiya, from the upcoming film Jaat. Known for her dynamic dance performances, Urvashi revealed that this time, she focused solely on acting.
“In this song, I didn’t dance at all. I just followed the character. I portrayed a lioness—powerful, fierce, and bold. If you observe closely, it’s all in the eyes,” she explained. “The composer, Thaman, added animal sounds like lion roars to intensify the mood. It’s a different kind of track with strong, bold lyrics.”
Speaking about her co-stars in the action-packed drama Jaat, Urvashi expressed her excitement over working with Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vinit Kumar Singh.
“It’s truly a dream project,” she said. “Sunny Deol gave me my first lead role in Singh Saab The Great. I’ve played Randeep Hooda’s wife in Inspector Avinash and Vinit Kumar Singh’s wife in another project. To reunite with all three in one film is special.”
The sizzling number Touch Kiya features Urvashi alongside the formidable villainous duo played by Randeep Hooda and Vinit Kumar Singh.
Jaat, headlined by Sunny Deol, is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10.
