Sydney, April 7: The Australian Bunts Association (ABA) held its highly anticipated annual event on March 22, at the Windsor Function Centre in Sydney.
The evening was a dazzling display of culture, talent, and unity, bringing together members of the Bunts community from across the country to celebrate the spirit of togetherness. This year’s theme, Great Gatsby: The Roaring 20s, set the stage for a glamorous and unforgettable evening, transporting guests back to the glitz and glamour of the Jazz Age.

The event was filled with a variety of entertaining segments that captivated the audience throughout the night. The fashion show was a standout, showcasing the elegant and extravagant styles of the Roaring 20s, with models donning flapper dresses, dapper suits, and feathered headpieces, bringing the theme to life.
The evening also included a comedy drama that had the crowd in stitches, as well as an Indo-Western fusion dance performance that seamlessly blended cultural traditions with modern flair.
The music mashup, featuring a vibrant mix of Hindi, Kannada, and Tulu songs, kept everyone on their feet. The evening was further electrified by energetic dance performances by the ladies and youth of the community, reflecting the dynamic spirit of the event.
This year’s event also saw the introduction of two important new segments aimed at recognising the achievements of community members and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit within the Bunt community.
The first segment celebrated those who have excelled academically, achieved outstanding success in their professional lives, and contributed greatly to the betterment of the community. The accolades were a testament to the hard work and dedication of these individuals, and their recognition was met with heartfelt applause and admiration from all attendees.
The second segment highlighted the achievements of community businesses, while also introducing an exciting new mentorship programme designed to guide and support young, aspiring entrepreneurs within the Bunt community. This initiative promises to empower the next generation of leaders and innovators.
As the night unfolded, the sense of community and pride was palpable. The event concluded on a high note, with everyone grooving to the beats of DJ TJ, whose music brought the entire room together in a joyous celebration.
The night was an unforgettable one, filled with entertainment, delicious food and drinks, face painting for kids, a 360-degree photobooth and much more, leaving lasting memories for all who attended.
ABA 2025 was a resounding success, further cementing Bunts Sangha Australia’s role in fostering a strong and vibrant community.
