Bengaluru realtor’s murder: Wife, mother-in-law arrested in chilling plot

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Mar 27: The city police have cracked the murder case of a 37-year-old realtor, arresting his 19-year-old wife and her mother for allegedly orchestrating the brutal crime.

The victim, Lokanath Singh, was found murdered near an under-construction building in BGS Layout, Soladevanahalli, on the evening of March 22. Initial investigations hinted at business rivalry, but police soon uncovered a shocking personal vendetta behind the killing.

According to officials, Singh’s wife, Yashasvini, had married him against her parents' wishes a few months ago. However, marital tensions soon surfaced, with Yashasvini suspecting him of infidelity. She eventually moved back to her parental home.

On March 22, she lured Singh to a meeting near Bagalur and drove with him to Soladevanahalli. There, she allegedly spiked his food with sleeping pills, while her mother, Hema Bai, trailed them. As Singh grew drowsy, the duo allegedly launched a fatal attack, slashing his neck with a knife.

With the case solved, the accused have been remanded to judicial custody.

Looking at age difference and his background which needs rowdyism, she was probably black mailed or threatened to marry. Normal nowadays. Solution only way was to get rid of him physically, which they did. Law takes ages and needs money, which they didn't have. They were brave to fight it out knowing they will be arrested. Better than committing suicide

Look at the age gap between girl ( 19 yrs kid ) and guy (37 adult ), the murder looks like it made out of the rage , brutality and mental agony caused by the guy towards girl and the family . Police has to investigate to the root cause of the problem.
