PM Modi, leaders extend Eid-ul-Fitr greetings, call for harmony, unity

New Delhi, Mar 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, praying for the festival to strengthen the spirit of hope, harmony, and kindness in society. Taking to social media, he wished, "May there be joy and success in all your endeavors. Eid Mubarak!"

Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across India and the world. The festival symbolizes joy, generosity, and unity as families and communities come together in prayer and celebration.

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her heartfelt wishes, emphasizing that the festival strengthens brotherhood and promotes compassion and charity. "I wish that this festival brings peace, prosperity, and happiness to everyone," she wrote on X.

Several other leaders joined in extending their greetings. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Kiren Rijiju all took to social media to wish citizens a joyous and blessed Eid, highlighting the importance of unity and goodwill.

As prayers and celebrations unfold across the country, the spirit of Eid continues to bring people together in the message of peace and harmony.
