Mumbai, Mar 14: The Indian equity markets remained closed today on account of the Holi festival. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) suspended trading for the day, in line with the holiday schedule set by the exchanges.
Market activity will resume as usual on the next trading session. Investors and traders are expected to closely monitor global cues and domestic factors as the markets reopen.
The commodity and forex markets also observed a trading holiday, with limited operations in some segments.
