Mangaluru, Mar 14: Abhishek Valmiki has been appointed as a member of the Dakshina Kannada district-level awareness and monitoring committee, constituted under the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes (prevention of atrocities) Act.

His official appointment took place during a meeting held on March 13 under the leadership of the additional deputy commissioner, superintendent of police, and deputy commissioner of police. Following his appointment, he also participated in the committee's first meeting.

Abhishek Valmiki has earned recognition as a young leader dedicated to the welfare of his community. He has actively worked towards addressing various issues faced by students from his community, raising concerns and ensuring solutions.

His appointment has been widely welcomed, with well-wishers, members of the Voice of Students organization, and friends extending their congratulations.
