Mumbai: Ryan Group of Schools celebrates Women’s Day

Media Release

Mumbai (RBI), Mar 7: Ryan Group of Schools celebrates Women’s Day emphasisizing the significance of women in society.

Women's Day is celebrated to acknowledge the contributions of women achievers across various fields. It is a day to recognize unsung heroes who have made and continue to make commendable contributions to nation-building in their own unique ways. The occasion highlights the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women worldwide. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "A woman is like a tea bag—you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water." Indeed, every woman is blessed with immense potential, and unless she takes up challenges and tests herself, she may not realize her fullest capabilities. A woman is a wonderful creation of God, with a special plan and purpose.

Women’s Day is not just a celebration but also a reminder that much remains to be done for women's welfare in society. It is an opportunity to recognize the contributions of women in every sphere of life—whether as homemakers, teachers, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, scientists, social workers, or sportspersons. Women have the ability to wear multiple hats and balance every responsibility with grace and excellence. The future is bright for women, and it is up to them to ensure that every woman has the opportunity to reach her full potential.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Grace Pinto, managing director of Ryan Group of Schools, emphasized that women have the power to transform society. Expressing gratitude, she acknowledged the role of faith in fulfilling the vision of reaching out to the children of the nation and supporting the poor and needy in society.

As an educationist, Dr Pinto reaffirmed her commitment to empowering women through education and leadership, fostering a more inclusive and progressive society. She noted that 95% of the workforce in her organization comprises women educators who are provided with opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and skill development. These educators, she added, are dedicated to shaping young minds and driving social change through education.

"Education has opened several avenues for women, and with education as a tool, they can transform their families, society, and generations to come. On this day dedicated to all women, let us cheer one another and inspire fellow women to dream big. Let us work towards making this world a better place to live in. Keep shining, as there are endless possibilities to grow. Women have a powerful role to play in shaping the future. Follow your passion and always remember—'Forward ever, backward never,'" she said.
