Mangaluru, Feb 16: The Cubs and Bulbuls investiture ceremony was held at Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru on February 14 with great enthusiasm and pride. The event marked a significant milestone in the journey of Cubs and Bulbuls symbolizing their commitment to service, leadership and community values.

The administrator, Sr Carissima and the coordinators were escorted by the Cub master Laveena D’Souza and Flock leader Ireal Ferrao. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome followed by Prarthana Geeth, hoisting of the flag and Jhanda Geeth. The administrator Sister Carissima congratulated the Cubs and Bulbuls and encouraged them to serve the society according to the law and promise of Cubs and Bulbuls. The young members took their promise with dedication, led by their mentors.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of badges and scarves to the new Cubs and Bulbuls signifying their official initiation. Teacher Jenita compered the programme and the ceremony concluded with heartfelt vote of thanks. A joyous round of applause and the distribution of sweets marked the successful conclusion of the event, paving a path for the Cubs and Bulbuls for their journey ahead.
