Udupi: Vidya Academy School Moodlakatte organises Annual Sports day

Udupi, Nov 13: The annual sports event of Vidya Academy School in Moodlakatte was held successfully recently. The main attraction of the day was the sports festival of young students. National award-winning physical education teacher Azad Mohammed was the chief guest and Sumana N, CRP of Koni cluster was the guest of honour.

The programme started with an impressive, admirable march past by the students. In his speech, Azad Mohammad appreciated the discipline and dedication of the students. He explained that physical education plays an important role in developing leadership qualities in students.

The guest of honour Sumana N appreciated the hard work of the school teachers. She appreciated the efforts of the teachers to bring out the talent in every student.

The programme was narrated by Rashma Shetty. Sofia Carvalho welcomed the guests and Sunita Rebello introduced the guests. Swati proposed vote of thanks. All sports competitions were successfully conducted under the leadership of Vidya.

School management officer Pavana Mahesh, director of physical education Praveen Kharvi, all teachers, parents and students were present on the occasion.
