Mangaluru, Oct 24: The kindergarten students hosted a lively “Fruit Chat Party' on October 24 in the School Auditorium designed to promote healthy eating while introducing a colourful array of fruits to young minds.

The event unfolded with a prayer led by teacher Lara, followed by a warm welcome from Sharadhi, a student from the UKG class, setting a cheerful mood for the day.

Teacher Shanthi energised the crowd with a catchy song about fruits, prompting enthusiastic singing from the children. The fun continued with an engaging PowerPoint presentation by teachers Evita and Nisha, who showcased various fruits and shared their nutritional benefits, making the learning process interactive and enjoyable.

Support staff played a vital role in the preparations, skillfully cutting and arranging a vibrant fruit salad. The students gathered around were captivated as they observed how different fruits come together to create a healthy snack.

Six teachers took turns discussing various fruits, emphasising their dietary worth and health benefits. This informative segment was designed to help the children grasp the importance of incorporating a variety of fruits into their diets.

Sr Lilly Pushpa - the principal, Dr Sr Prem – the administrator, and Sr Premal – the vice-principal were warmly received with a beautiful fruit basket, a fitting symbol of the day’s theme. The Principal joined in on the fun by leading a game that kept the children engaged and excited.
