Kasargod, Jun, 27: Udaya Higher Secondary School hosted a significant event on June 26 to mark Anti-Drug Awareness Day. The event aimed to educate students and the community about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
The key resource person for the event was Madhu Karakkadavath, a senior civil police officer from Manjeshwar police station. In his impactful message, Karakkadavath emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and making informed choices. He shared valuable insights on the legal and health consequences of drug abuse, encouraging students to become ambassadors of a drug-free society.
The event was graced by the presence of the school's principal, Ivan Jerald Ivan Crasta, and Fr Santhosh D’Souza, who joined Karakkadavath on stage.
The ceremony was held at the school's auditorium and witnessed active participation from students, teachers. Niharika delivered a warm welcome address, setting a positive tone for the event.
