Mangaluru: Seminar for Bethany Champions held at St Theresa's School

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 24: St Theresa's School conducted a seminar for the Bethany Champions of classes 8, 9, and 10 on June 24.

The resource person for the day was Sr Sharon, BS, from the Bethany Congregation. The day's programme began by invoking God's blessings, followed by a warm welcome to the gathering.

Sr Sharon commenced the session by singing an action song to make the session lively and spiritual.

She spoke about John the Baptist, whose feast day is celebrated on June 24, explaining the significance. Sr Sharon enlightened the students about Fr founder RFC Mascarenhas, detailing his birth, his deep trust in God, and his dedication to prayer. She emphasized how these values were instrumental in his journey to priesthood, his contributions to the community, and the founding of the Bethany Congregation. She highlighted the various works undertaken by the congregation and stressed the importance of family prayers in daily life.

The inspirational talk given by Sr Sharon was instrumental in helping students understand and experience Gospel values in their daily lives. It was an enriching session.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Flavia Preethi.
