Udupi: Pragya Fest inaugurated  at Poorna Prajna College

Udupi, May 17: “A full-fledged educational institution has been established to improve the student life and social status of students. Students studying in this institution will continue to progress” said the president of Udupi Sri Adamaru Mutt Education Board, His Holiness Sri Sri Ishapriyatheertha swamiji.

He inaugurated the state-level inter-college 'Pragna-2024 Fest' held at Poornaprajna College (Autonomous), Udupi.

''This 'Pragya Fest'is a great platform to showcase the talents of graduate students. Poornaprajna College has also provided opportunity to showcase the talent of the faculty with the students,'' said P Sri Ramana Aital, educational director of Poornaprajna College.  

Dr G S Chandrasekhar, honorary secretary of the college management board presided over the programme. Dr A P Bhat, administrator of Udupi Sri Adamaru Math Education Board; Dr Sukanya Mary, principal, Poornaprajna Evening College;  Pratima Baliga, principal, Poornaprajna Degree College; Dr Ramu L, IQAC coordinator, Dr Vinay Kumar, chief coordinator of Pragya Fest. Ramesh T S, Manush Kotian, president of the college's student union were present.

Jyoti Acharya, lecturer of Department of Commerce compered. Student Sriraksha Hegade rendered the invocation. Head of department of Botany, Dr Vijayalakshmi C Bhat welcomed and Muruli, lecturer of MCom Department, offered his felicitations.
