Beltangady, Mar 24: Wildfire was noticed on the southern part of Gadaikallu rocky mountain at around 5 pm on Saturday.

Locals made a video of the same and informed forest department officials.

Forest department officials rushed to the spot to bring the forest fire under control.

The reason for the sudden fire is not known.
