Kundapur, Mar 21: "It is the government's responsibility to construct houses for those without them. Our constitution clearly mentions it," said entrepreneur Dr H S Shetty. He made these remarks during the Bhoomi pooja and groundbreaking ceremony for 14 houses for the Koraga community. The homes will be built by the Heggunje Rajiv Shetty Charitable Trust Society, Bengaluru, near Bidkal Katte, Jannadi Koraga Colony, Kundapur.

"Pejavar Shree honored me with a silver pot during my recent visit to Ayodhya. Inspired by a letter from Swamiji about the concept of Rama Rajya, I have taken up the initiative to construct houses," he added.

Pejavara Shree Vishwaprasanna Theertha, who laid the foundation stones and inaugurated the program, blessed the occasion. He spoke about the majestic temple constructed in Ayodhya and his resolve to address the housing needs of the less fortunate. "While a grand temple is built in Ayodhya, many across the country are struggling without shelter. I pledged to address this issue, and my friend has graciously supported this endeavor. May Lord Rama bless him," he said.

Pejavar Shree was welcomed with Poornakumbha before the programme commenced. Also present at the event were Udupi Yaksharanga secretary Murali Kadekar, Vice President of Heggunje Rajiv Shetty Charitable Trust Society Halady Nagaraja Shetty, and others.
