Mangaluru, Jan 27: The vibrant spirit of patriotism and unity echoed through the air as St Mary's English Higher Primary School celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with the solemn flag hoisting ceremony. Joseph D'Costa, the chief guest of the day hoisted the national flag and the entire gathering stood in respect with their hearts filled with pride for their tricolor flag.

Joseph D’Costa addressed the audience emphasizing the importance of unity in diversity and the principles enshrined in India's constitution.

The cultural programme showcased the rich heritage and diversity of India. Students presented mesmerizing dance performances representing various states, cultures and traditions. The colorful and energetic displays captivated the audience fostering a sense of unity.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the chief guest, headmistress, staff, participants and everyone involved in making the celebration a success.

Asra Lohani and Nashwa Khathija compered the programme and Tr Sowmya welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. The programme was organized by the students of class 5B and 1 B under the guidance of their class teacher. The day concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to uphold the principles of our constitution and contribute to the progress and unity of India.
