Mangaluru: First Steps Pre-school celebrates Republic Day

Mangaluru, Jan 26: First Steps Pre-School, Kudroli celebrated its 75th Republic Day on January 25th with the tag line ‘Our National Leaders’.

The variety of freedom fighters costumes worn by kids showed the parents enthusiasm and active participation to bring out their child’s talent.

The chairman of Shareef Educational and Charitable Trust, distinguished toastmaster (DTM) Shameer Ahmed wished all the participants and explained the purpose of Republic Day celebration as well as conducting such an event to build up the confidence and creative culture in children.

Shameer elaborated the importance of day to tiny tots which marks the day when India became truly independent and embraced democracy, it celebrates the day on which our constitution came into effect. On January 26, 1950, almost 3 years post-independence, India became a sovereign, secular, socialist, democratic republic.

He thanked the parents for their support and encouragement. Conducting such events helps the students to gain confidence and also to become an ideal citizen of India, he said. 

The children actively participated and were very happy and excited about the costumes they wore.

Parents were equally thrilled and overwhelmed due to their child’s participation. The enthusiastic kids enacted characters of freedom fighters.

Teacher Himna S Ahmed elaborated the program and thanked all the students and parents for their involvement to make the occasion a grand success. The coordinators Sufiyan S Ahmed and Shehzan S Ahmed, staff Raziya assisted and ensured the smooth flow of the event.

The programme magnificently concluded with certificate and prize distribution to the winners. Consolation prizes and certificates were distributed to all the participants.
