Moodbidri: Carmel School organizes cleanliness campaign

Moodbidri, Jan 19: Carmel School's grade 7 students, led by their class teachers orchestrated a dynamic cleanliness campaign on January 10, at Moodbidri bus stand.

A total of 53 students actively participated in this service-learning activity, aligning with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme. Noteworthy figures, including the health inspector of the municipal council and an environmental engineer, lent their expertise to this commendable initiative.

The campaign aimed to instill a profound sense of responsibility, hygiene, and pride within the school community. The students were strategically assigned tasks, with a focus on waste segregation into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories. The local press amplified the impact of the school's contribution, shedding light on its commitment to the noble cause. Carmel School’s management and principal, dedicated to create a cleaner and healthier environment, left a lasting impression on the conscientious minds of grade 7 students.
