Mangaluru: Investor Awareness Programme held at YIASCM

Mangaluru, Jan 13: A day-long workshop at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management (YIASCM) was conducted on January 13 in collaboration between the Mangalore University-Commerce Teachers Association MUCTA, Investor Club, and YENFAS Club.

The workshop aimed to provide valuable insights into various aspects of finance, investment, and banking.

During the workshop, Colin Janet, assistant YENFAS club assistant coordinator welcomed the gathering. Cassin Rodrigues, coordinator of the Investor Club thanked the institution, Dr Arun A Bhagwath principal and dean of faculty of science, Dr Shareena P, vice principal and dean faculty of commerce and management, Dr Jeevan Raj vice principal and Dr Prashanth, coordinator of Investor Club.

Razeena YENFAS Club coordinator also thanked the institution. The third session was conducted by Tabitha lecturer, department of linguistics. participants were educated on the importance of diversifying their investment portfolios to mitigate risks. Leo Amal shed light on the fundamentals of banking, emphasizing the significance of savings and maintaining a good credit score. Naveen Rego provided valuable insights into the risks associated with different investment options, enabling participants to make informed decisions. Elston Menezes discussed various investment avenues, helping attendees identify suitable options based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.

The workshop at Yenepoya Institute proved to be an enriching experience for participants, equipping them with practical knowledge in the fields of finance, investment, and banking. The collaborative effort between the Investor Club and YENFAS Club facilitated a holistic learning environment for all attendees. A total of 130 professor and 300 students took part in the workshop.
