Mangaluru: Renovated auditorium blessed, inaugurated at Athena Institute, Christmas celebrated

Mangaluru, Dec 18: It was indeed a special day for all of the management, staff and students of Athena Institute of Health Sciences, as occasion draw enthusiasm in us, as they witnessed a harmonious blending of the college on Monday December 18. Guests, well-wishers and staff had all gathered to take part in the celebration of inauguration and blessings of renovated AC auditorium and Sparkling Christmas celebration 2023.

It was the time to thank God for being with them throughout the construction of the renovated beautiful AC auditorium were Rt Rev Hemachandra Kumar, bishop CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese lead the ceremony of blessings through prayer service.

The dignitaries inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The Christmas celebration began with the prayer song. R S Shettian, chairman welcomed the gathering and as a token of love, Rt Rev Hemachandra Kumar, bishop was honored. A Christmas message was given by the bishop to share the joy of Christmas with needy people. Viola D’Souza, SNA advisor announced prizes for various competitions. Students engaged themselves in various Christmas programmes with wonderful Christmas carols and choreography.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Sr Deepa Peter, principal Athena Institute of Health Sciences. The programme was compared by Angela Tomy and Aleena Binu.
