Mangaluru, Sep 23: Athena Institute of Health Sciences organized programme to express gratitude and bid farewell to the outgoing 11th batch MSc, 12th batch of PB BSc, 16th batch of BSc and 18th batch of GNM. The programme was held at St Alphonsa Church Auditorium followed by thanksgiving Mass.

As a part of inaugural, a flex named 'CIAO BASH 2K23' was released. The outgoing batches and guests were welcomed with the entrance dance. The formal programme began with a prayer song. Shenova of 1st year PB BSc welcomed the gathering. As a significance of the day lamp lighting was done by dignitaries on the dais R S Shettian chairman, principal Sr Deepa Peter, vice principal Sr Aileen Mathias, Sunitha, Hemalatha, Viola and Jasmin.

Felicitation with mementoes given to the outgoing batches by the dignitaries. One representative from each batch expressed their memorable moments in Athena. Inspiring and valuable messages delivered by R S Shettian, chairman, Sr Deepa Peter and Hemalatha.

The audience were entertained by various cultural programmes filled with zeal and enthusiasm. The vote of thanks delightfully delivered by Sruthi Christeena, 3rd year BSc nursing. To wrap up the programme, refreshment was provided to all. The programme was compered by Laxmi Vinod, Aleen Deep and Angela Tomy, students of 3rd year BSc nursing.
