Beltangady, Feb 16: An industrial visit was organized for the post graduate students of MCom on February 15 to Hangyo Ice Creams Private Limited located at Heroor village road, Brahmavar in Udupi district.

The production in-charge Suresh welcomed the students. An induction session was delivered about the safety and security measures followed in the plant. After giving few instructions about the saftey measures, Suresh gave visual and oral presentation about the continuous process of production, storing and marketing.

Suresh briefed the students about the core raw material, mixing, different processing stages and cooling to dispatch of the finished goods. It was an interactive session and students received practical exposure about the production and operation management which was beneficial for the students. Then the students were taken for refreshment and were served products of fresh ice creams.

A total of 30 students accompanied by four staff members took part Iin the industry visit.
