Udupi, Jul 20: Inauguration ceremony of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Mukunda Kripa English Medium Nursery and Higher Primary School will be held on Saturday July 23, said T Ranga Pai, chairman, School governing council.
Addressing the press gathering, he said, “Mukunda Kripa is a very esteemed institution situated near to Rajangana in Udupi. The premise where the school is situated today was a music school earlier. Due to the demand from the local public for an English medium, Dr TMA Pai, our founder, initiated the English medium school on this premise. Many of our alumni have achieved greater heights including Udupi MLA Raghupathi BHat, Ex MLA Pramodh Madhwaraj and Sandalwood star Rakshith Shetty to name a few. Paryaya Seer Shree Shree Vidyasagara Theertha Swamiji of Krishnapura Math will be inaugurating the Golden jubilee celebrations along with other dignitaries” he said.
Speaking about the celebrations Sujatha Shantharam Shetty, headmistress said, "On July 23, 2022 our school is stepping into 50th year, Paryaya Seer Shree Vidyasagara Theertha Swamiji of Krishnapura Math will inaugurate the celebrations. T Ashok Pai, secretary and treasurer of Dr TMA Pai foundation will preside over the function. Best Teacher national awardee Kudi Vasanth Shetty will be the chief guest for the function. Raghupathi Bhat, MLA Udupi Pramodh Madhwaraj, fformer MLA Ashok Kamath, in-charge BEO Varadaraya Pai, secretary Academy of General Education Manipal Dr Vijayendra Vasanth Rao, Prabhavathi S Adiga, former headmistress will be the guest of honor. To mark the Golden Jubilee year celebrations we have organized various cultural and other competitions for the students, alumni, parents and also for the auto and car drivers who bring the students to our school” she said.
The concluding of Golden Jubilee year celebrations will be held on July 23, 2023.
Karunakar Bangera, vice president, parents teachers' association, Vadiraj, vice president, alumni association, Bharathi Umesh, faculty, Prabhavathi S Adiga, former headmistress, Girish Bhat, president, alumni association and parents teachers' association were present on the occasion.
