Mangalore: Renovated Basel House Inaugurated

Mangalore, Dec 6: The 200-year old British building which was once used as the Judicial Court at the Karnataka Theological College was renovated and inaugurated as the Basel House by KCD Bishop S Vasantha Kumar on Tuesday December 7.



Speaking on the occasion, the Bishop said that the guest house intended to provide facilities for the researchers, writers and give visitors a taste of Dakshina Kannada’s tradition and culture.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of women’s hostel was held on the same day. KSD Bishop and KTC former principal Dr J S Sadananda laid the foundation.

The Basel house was blessed by Bishop J Prabhakar Rao. He also launched the KACES homepage www.kaces.org.

    yeah..it is a very noble deed...god has really provided his favours and showered all his blessings...into this blessed city,,,i wish all team members.. who are working on this project...god bless them and their famlies..provide them all the courage
