Chikballapur: State Govt Trying to Cover Up Scams - Moily

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikballapur (SB)

Chikballapur, Dec 5: Union minister for law M Veerappa Moily on Saturday December 4 alleged BJP government of trying cover up the land scams citing that there has been a delay from the government to initiate action against those accused of scams.

He was addressing the media persons at the Congress party office here. It is more apparent that the government is trying to cover up the corruption issue by refusing to hand over the cases to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for investigation.

It has further ignored the issue despite charge sheet being filed on the same by Lokayukta, he observed.
