Udupi: Road Accidents Take Away Two Lives in District

Udupi, Nov 15: A pedestrian named Kutti Mogera (65), resident of Darkhas near Pilar-Halasinakatte near here, died after a motor bike knocked him down in front of Mudarangady Milk Producers Cooperative Society on Saturday November 13 night.

A complaint against the rider of the bike in question, Prasad Krishna, has been registered in Shirva police station in this connection.

Another pedestrian, Kayi Chikkanna (80), who was walking by the road, was killed after a bus hit him in on national highway 17 at Hangalur on the outskirts of Kundapur on Sunday November 14.

A case in this respect was registered in Kundapur police station.
