Mangaluru: Srinivas University, College of Physiotherapy organizes Navratri celebrations

Mangaluru, Oct 13: College of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University organized Navratri celebration on October 12, 2021 between 05.30 pm to 09.00 pm at the Srinivas Convention Hall, GHS road, Mangaluru. Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinvas University and president of A Shama Rao foundation; Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (Developmet) of Srinivas University, Dr S Rajasekar, dean, College of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University were present at the event.

The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Durga and then by performing the traditional dance form, Garba.T he event was well attended by all the enthusiastic students and faculty members in traditional grooming. It was a colourful event with teachers joining the students enthusiastically in their dance. The event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest along with the discipline of students. The event was made more interesting by announcing spot prizes such as best dressed student/faculty, best danced student/faculty.

The event was facilitated by the chancellor by making available the venue for conducting the event and providing logistic support. Joint efforts of all members of administration team, faculties and students were involved for smooth coordination of activities which made the event successful.
