Kundapur: Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary given warm welcome in native Kota

Kundapur, Aug 7: Kota Srinivas Poojary who was made minister for a third time by CM Bommai arrived at his native place Kota in the taluk after touring Kodagu. He was heartily welcomed by BJP leaders, workers and well wishers of Sastan, Mabukala, Saligrama and Kota.

Poojary offered pooja to Kota Amrutheshwari Amma. He was welcomed by Kota Jamia Masjid committee and Muslim community also.

Speaking to the media Poojary said, “Due to the weightage of my work as the leader of the upper house, I have been given the position of minister. I will help the commoners my level best in future also. Due to coronavirus and flood I have been named as incharge of Kodagu district.”

State secretary of backward communities morcha of BJP Vittal Poojary Irodi, people representatives of Kodi, Irodi, Kotathattu, Kota gram panchayat, social worker Dinesh Ganiga, leaders Karana Poojary, Ravindra Tingalaya, Prasada Poojary and members of administrative committee of Amrutheshwari temple were present.
