Udupi: MLA Halady fans’ association urges govt to make him minister

Udupi, Jul 30: Sushant Achladi, president of Kota Yuvamorcha and Halady fans’ association has urged the ruling BJP government to give minister position, at least this time to MLA of the taluk Halady Srinivas Shetty.

Speaking at the press conference held at Udupi press club on Friday, July 30, Sushant said, “BJP has the opportunity of correcting the mistake they did earlier. Halady Srinivas Shetty is five time MLA from Kundapur. He has been winning continuously since 1999 and every time his winning margin has doubled. The reason for this is his service oriented approach towards the public. Till date there is not a black dot in his political career. He is not involved in any scam. Most of the MLAs are based in the capital city of Bengaluru. But Halady Srinivas Shetty does not lobby to get a minister position. He has not kept any demand also. Now BJP is ruling in the state. So Halady should get a minister position for which he is suitable and eligible.

“Halady Srinivas Shetty is never involved in communal issues. He has never fallen at the feet of anyone asking them to make him minister. Till now he is to himself and serves the society selflessly. At this point, I would like to say that this is the dream of his countless fans and well-wishers. Already a campaign has started on social sites supporting Halady. It will take place at a much larger scale. We will submit an appeal to Bommai in this regard.”

Yogish, Keertish Poojary Kota and Theerthan Devadiga Vaddarse were present.

    HSS Deserves to be in Bommais cabinet more than any minister. No MLA can win convincingly as Halady. He does not need to do any campaign even if he stands Independent. BJP has one last chance to amend their mistake of brining a Honest representative to its cabinet who is pro people and never known to lobby to anyone or RSS to be included into cabinet. He is a real people representative. It will be a honor for BJP if he is made minister not the opposite.

    Hope BJP will correct its mistake this time. Let BJP identify who is blocking the things happen. Let there be a chance to elected leader than a selected leader. Let there be a chance to working leader than a talking leader. Let BJP act before the people voted lost interest in them and the democratic process. This urge of people is justified in all angle..
