Udupi, Apr 10: A boy and girl fought on the street for the possession of dog. The police had to intervene to pacify them.

The fight took place right in front of Pet Choice shop at Ajjarakad in the city. A boy had come to the shop with his pet dog. He had come to buy food for his dog. A girl who saw the dog started to fight with him saying that the dog the boy has in his possession is hers. But the boy who did not agree said that he had bought the dog. This resulted in fierce argument. Then the police intervened.

The police could not find as to who is the owner of the dog. They are investigating. It is suspected that the dog was stolen and sold to the boy.

Though the dog got confused due to the fight between the boy and girl, ultimately it went with the girl, who said that she has reared it up since it was a puppy.
