St Agnes College hosts workshop on ‘Mental Well Being for Students’

Mangaluru, Feb 7: The department of psychology organised a workshop on ‘Mental Well Being for Students’ on February 6 at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru.

The resources persons were Aditya Shetty Jnana, NITTE (DU) lecturer and counsellor and Sindhu K S, lecturer and clinical psychologist, KS Hegde Medical Academy.

The workshop covered topics like life skills, time management, self-awareness, creativity, coping with emotions, and interpersonal relationships. The activities helped students recognize and manage emotions, empathize with others, and develop self-awareness, understanding thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Vinatha K, HOD, department of psychology introduced the speakers and Dr Hithakshi B was the convenor of the workshop. Sinchana led the group in prayer, Sanjana Shetty welcomed the gathering while Pooja expressed the words of gratitude and Uzma compered the programme.

Divya Ramachandran, assistant professor was present for the workshop along with 126-degree students of BA/BSc Psychology who actively participated in the workshop.
